Not The Best Way to Start Off

Yesterday I was on the way to my sons wedding.

As I headed the family van down the road, from the hood came an explosion of blue feathers.

Hopefully not an omen.

Hmmmm, doesn't the saying go "something borrowed, something blue?"

LOL! I shouldn't laugh but at least you brought the blue :D

Nope. Not an omen, just crossing something blue off the list.

Now if you could only find a "six-pence for your shoe" under the hood...

Poor birdie. I hear them crash into our windows here at the house all.the.time. You think they'd learn. My windows aren't exactly what you'd call sparkling clean either!

Congrats to your son!

I like the funny comment about "something blue."

Congratulations to your family - your son - to you.

Yesterday I saw many birds in my back yard too, but I felt really sorry for them because I know they they should be heading somewhere else.

Probably preferable to the cat my dad found on the engine on a bone-cold winter's day.

Yeeesh.

Congratulations on your son's wedding! When I started to read your post and saw the picture of the bird, I thought you were going to write that the blue bird had used you for target practice while you were all dressed up :)
