Overheard In The Preschool

The wife relayed a story from the preschool she works at. She doesnt know that it is going on the Blog so no telling, K?

She overheard one of the assistants at the preschool was telling another teacher that her twins were going away to college this fall. She said she sat them down to have "The Talk".

She said I know you are going to be away from home, and you'll prolly think about experimenting with ........meat.

Meat? The wife said she got so tickled that was all she heard.

Seems this lady is a pretty strict vegetarian.

I wish that was all I was worrying about when the kids are away.

LOL! Yeah, there are much greater things to worry about than meat...if only it was that easy.

Well the subject of how the little mini cocktail weenies came about has always been a difficult one to broach...

It will be a tense conversation at the house when she comes out of the closet and admits she is an omnivoir and has been hitting on some Slim Jims.

LOL! That is hilarious! The perils of college life, steak binges are a serious problem for college students, sadly most ER visits are made by students who just couldn't say no to a Filet Mignon. :D

I just got back from a three-week vacation, so I’m still a bit jet lagged, but this tickled my funny bone. Although I will have to admit that the above comments are even funnier.

Thanks for the chuckles!

*should be* / "this mom's comment"

Be careful at *parties* / "bbq's", guard your *drinks* / "plate" at all times because boys will try to slip you *roofies* / "patties".

This is hilarious.

:-)

If that's all that gets experimented with, they'll be lucky!

I was thinking college age was a bit late for having "the talk", since kids are learning about sex younger and younger.

....But then you said "meat", and it all made sense. Or not. Surely they know all about meat by now....

I admit, I don't eat as much of the stuff as I used to... But I'm not vegetarian... I do enjoy a good steak now and again...

Wow. I wish that was all I had to worry about.... Seriously...
