Not an issue for me. But when I was little, my mom always used to check us for ticks etc. after playing outside all day. She said if an ear wig (pincher beattles) got in there it would attach itself and suck our brains out. I think she was just kidding so we'd sit still, but one never knows. :)
We still have to do the tick hunt because our yard is wooded. We have earwigs in the yard. They are bad to bore into the pumpkins and ruin them. But I have never had one in the house and especially in the ear. Might be cause the kids already fried the brain.
What the??? Is that an earwig on the packaging? Where in the world were you traveling that they sold these things and that you have to worry about them crawling in your ear??
What?! :-) What in the world would these be used for?! Where am I going that I'm worried about things crawling in my ears and why wouldn't I just stuff a wad of cotton in them?!

I'm soooooooooo glad I live in So. Cal! lol!

You can also put them on your feet or your hands or your nose....I'll stop there...lol
