Man On The Edge

Hi folks!!!

Just in case anyone was wondering I'm still breathing.

You might remember this post. OK, kinda irritating but cute.

Or this one. Again irritating but I can laugh it off.

Or this one. Not much you can really do about these guys so you just pick them off.

But now, They crossed the line. They really pissed me off.

My garden is littered with half chewed cucumber carcasses and squash necks with no bodies below it. There are tomato skins and half eaten maters on top of my fence post and littering my yard. They have eaten about 1/3 of my bounty.

So I got this.
Might have worked a bit but it has rained alot. Maybe if you sprayed it in their eyes.

We tried Cayenne Pepper sprinkled on the plants.

We tried Foil on the ground around the plants.

Now it is time for extreme measures.

So I got A new sign.

Things just got real folks.

LOL! My husband's been running around our garden with a pellet gun for months. Finally he borrowed a live trap and within 5 minutes, the problem was solved and relocated.

Hmmm? Them suckers are smarter than I am. I thought about using rat traps. Didnt think about the live traps. I will definitely look into that. I would prefer that way and my daughter wouldn't hate me.

LOL! I had the same problem with my sunflowers.

My garden was pathetic this year...I give up! Next year...a tree.

Hope you'all are doing fine.

OH NO IT DIN'T!

*sigh* we also have the same problem with our sunflowers... let me know if you find something that works. Although, we have so many squirrels we'd relocate 7 and 16 would move in.

And that says nothing for the raccoon, deer, wild cats, coyotes, and fisher cats. Sometimes it stinks being so close to a wetlands conservation area.

Juli, Well some websites show netting but if a squirrel wants in they just chew thru it. I havent been able to procure a forcefield yet. Still working on that so for the time being it is phasers on stun.

As the garden has dwindled down so have the visits. I spose they kinda won but we did get our share of veggies.

Jeez, my husband loves taking those guys out. I'll send him your way. Lol

Forever, I went looking for a pellet gun at Dicks. Got squirrel problems? they ask. My son got this one and we have no more sqirrels. Someone else suggest a different gun with the same results. I should just be hiring these kids out.
